Three bodies of work that weave together themes of childhood, intimate relationships, and folklore steeped in landscapes. The works incorporate drawing, embroidery, printmaking and water colour. Selected works are from 'Bluebeard's Children', 'Eggs, Most Common Form of Children to Eat' and 'Drawings from Iceland'.
Fan-Ling Suen is a cross-disciplinary artist living in Guelph, Ontario. Suen's work extends across a variety of media and is primarily interested in human relationships and how we understand ourselves within the framework of institution - particularly those that structure childhood experience.
