Capacity 3 Gallery shows the works of emerging, mid-career and established artists, showcasing both regional and national work. Priority will be given to projects that foster community dialogue, assist in the development of an individual’s artistic practice, and inform the current state of contemporary practice.

The Gallery is located in a recently discovered lost space between the main floor and basement of Boarding House Arts, a historic stone building with three floors of galleries and studios located at 6 Dublin, Guelph, Ontario.

C3G is a non-profit artist run space, this non-commercial venue provides artists with a space to publicly display their work and engage with the community.

Capacity 3 Gallery is currently looking for exhibition proposals from artists. C3G will provide the space, installation assistance, insurance and promotion, but no artist fees. Exhibitions will typically be one month in duration but there is space within the schedule for short and longer-term works such as performance and site-specific projects. The space is approximately 80 sq ft. There is also a large entrance hall that can be utilized for events and openings.

Submissions must include:

  1. Project proposal: a brief description of your exhibition, performance, or other event. Include technical requirements and site specifications if applicable.
  2. A brief bio.
  3. Documentation of your work: up to ten images or five minutes of audio-visual material
  4. Current curriculum vitae
  5. Other supportive documents or web links (optional).
